Review of Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) by Juanka P — 22 Jan 2017

I have not been a huge Marvel fan. But after having the experience of viewing this film I started to care more about Marvel films. This is a great superhero movie. In my opinion, it is the best Marvel movie ever put to screen.

The movie had a 70s spy thriller type throughout out it's run time. This is not your average superhero movie. It has a strong story line which resembles a suspenseful spy thriller action flick. It has some political vibe and astute which made the movie more mature.

A lot of depth were put to each of the character which had moments in which I felt for that character. There is a bad-ass villain, the Winter Soldier which the movie describes and expresses this character so, so good that he was one of the best superhero movie villains I have seen.

Also, the action is fantastic. Good camera work done to the action scenes with no shaky cam, but the fast moves and punches of the characters which made all the action very brutal and intense. Not only the does the movie succeeds the action it also contains some dramatic moments especially and the last act of the film.

All the things the film does works. I think this is the best Marvel movie ever made and it is more than just a superhero movie.
