Review of Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) by Nicky W — 21 Apr 2015
This was easily the most enjoyable superhero movie of the summer. A period set action adventure that didn't take itself too seriously, like Thor and the first Iron Man, and similar in tone to Joe Johnston's own Rocketeer.
I'm looking forward to Joss Whedon's Avengers next yet that was teased post credits. I am sure the female audience will enjoy seeing both Thor and the Captain go shirtless then :p.
