Review of Capitalism: A Love Story (2009) by Thomas M — 29 Jun 2010
When Moore spends time on individual injustices, he has everything he needs to get the audience rightfully outraged. But this documentary feels more like a video blog that strings together corporate excesses and concludes, "No more capitalism!" Moore glances the bigger issues, interviews a bunch of yes-men, places himself in the movie repeatedly for either autobiography or cheap stunts, and doesn't provide any counterpoints.
He should be in a crowd of worker-protesters, not pretending to lead them.
