Review of Capitalism: A Love Story (2009) by Lisa K — 16 Aug 2010

I was really looking forward to seeing this one, and I'm glad I did. Michael Moore strikes again with his off-brand humor and unique way of presenting facts. Could it have been a little bit more scathing, more critical of capitalism? Yes, I think so.

However, I think it's a good film for people to watch who have no idea what capitalism even is, how it's different from socialism, communism, etc, and how it effects society as a whole. I'm considering showing it to my Mom, who doesn't even know the difference between a Democrat and a Republican lol.

All in all, a good Michael Moore film, but I don't think it's my favorite... yet:).
