Review of Capitalism: A Love Story (2009) by Sean G — 27 Aug 2010
Ive seen most of MMs films and found something to enjoy in each one of them. He doesnt give a balanced argument about his topics but then whoever said you had to?
I liked this film even though I didnt agree with it. I think my problem is the definition of Capitalism and what it really means, Im not sure that it was covered adequately and why we are supposed to dislike it so much. ...
However it was fun at times, he had a few good stunts and was his usual cheeky self at times turning the tables on the establishment in his own imitable way. There were moments when you found yourself agreeing with him in spite of your self and whatever else you think of him you can't deny he has a good style of presenting his documentaries and America needs someone to present a more libertarian view on things at least to show the rest of the world they arent a bunch of redneck bush lovers.
Which some of them are of course but I digress.
Watch this film, its pretty good. 4 stars - but too long!
