Review of Capitalism: A Love Story (2009) by Leo K — 10 Nov 2010
This movie is a total eye opener. It's started off kind of slow but after about 10 minutes Michael started to reveal some shocking facts and showed the viewers things that were very alarming. If you are conservative, you might not want to see this movie because it wont appeal to you politically, and at the same time it will question your core beliefs.
.. BUT if you are independent and open minded... this is a must see. I've always liked Michael's movies. They always seemed very "raw" and "in your face" to me... and if that is what you like, then this film will not disappoint.
Some of the things in this movie were so shocking that you couldn't help but laugh... and in the theatre where I viewed the movie, there were many occasions where the room was filled with enormous chuckles.
In my opinion, this might be a contender for his best film... although its hard to say that this is better than any of his previous works. I was really wowed and I really recommend others to see this movie so you can form your own opinions.
