Review of Capitalism: A Love Story (2009) by Jarett B — 02 Dec 2010
Well, Mr. Moore, I agree with 99.9% of what you're selling (and I don't even live in the US, but Canada is the same thing). It's guys like you that got me interested in politics in the first place.
However, I was not a fan of Fahrenheit 9/11, as I did not like the idea of 'setting up shots' with, then, still grieving widows and mothers. Since then I always take Moore's words, well every political word, with a grain of salt.
A meeting of Moore and Bill Maher still does get me all 'revolutionary'd up.' Capitalsim reminds me of a Mafia documentary I just watched called Crime Inc., especially a segment called 'Making it Legitimate.
' The only difference that I see between the Mafia Doc and Capitalism is that senators are not floating in the Jersey Peer (yet). Corruption always has deep roots, and it's amazing to see how deep they actually go.
