Review of Capitalism: A Love Story (2009) by Parker H — 26 Jun 2011
Michael Moore movies are definitely formulaic: That's the main reason I'm counting this one down. If you've seen one, you've seen them all and Roger & Me (the first) may still have been the best.
It's a shame that Moore didn't stretch more this time though as its an important topic. I would have liked to have seen the distinction between capitalism and democracy more clearly covered. But most importantly, I'd have liked to have seen alternatives to capitalism more thoroughly explored.
All in all, a very unsatisfying movie.
