Review of Capitalism: A Love Story (2009) by Chiek E — 04 Aug 2011
It angers me that the government was in cahoot with the obscenely rich bankers and financial institutions, Goldman Sachs being the evilest, to fleece the common people of their ability to live decently, rights which president FDR attempted to enshrine as the 2nd Bill of rights.
He did not because he passed prematurely. Americans live in the richest nation in the world. Working class and all deserve a decent job, health care, a good education. A home to call their own. All deserves FDRâ(TM)s dream.
Its a crime we donâ(TM)t have it. And we never will. As long as we have a system that enriches the few at the expense of the many. Capitalism is an evil and you cannot regulate evil. You have to eliminate it and replace it that is good for all people.
That something is called real democracy.
