Review of Capitalism: A Love Story (2009) by Drum2Harmonize W — 06 Jul 2010
I think this film was one of Michael's best films. It also took a step into his life and family. I worked for Walmart and was concerned about my coworkers happiness in the long term, considering it wasn't UNION, I realized it was like I could give my life to Wal-Mart was it worth it? I asked myself.
I cared about the people I worked with and the most important thing is are you truely happy doing what your doing for a living? Do you not only have time for your family but are you creating a nest egg for retirement? It is the American Dream right? It was shocking to see that some corporations were hoping people would die so they could cash in on their life insurance.
It showed that greed ment more that peoples lives. I never like Bushes ethics and it also showed some more of what happened in congress and also during the Bush administration. I believe you can rise to your greatest potential, be the best you can be, but it doesn't have to be necessary to walk all over other people to get there.
