Saw this at Cannes. What a false-intentioned, Western audience-pandering, insincere load of nonsense. Shameful how many directors are exploiting the Syrian cause to get ahead. Clumsy filmmaking, sentimental writing, and for anyone who can understand Arabic, very stilted performances.
She did cast cute children though, like a 4 million dollar NGO ad.
