Welcome to Martin Scorsese presents: Creepy ass Bobby DeNiro! Yep, DeNiro will make your skin crawl in this one. I never write directly about things that happen in the film in my reviews (BECAUSE ANY HINT OF A SPOILER SUCKS! TAKE NOTE OF THIS OTHERS ON RT), but man, lets just say DeNiro in any scene with any of the female cast will make you want to check the locks before you go to bed. Sorsese's camera work is some of my favorite in this film. Super underrated as far as I am concern. The camera almost moves in a playful way which makes the material so much creepier. Juliette Lewis tears it up, but my favorite female in this one is Illeana Douglas. Douglas is pretty much amazing in any role but here she is just damn perfect. Nolte is his usual over the top self, and so is Lange.
