This is a great movie. Robert DE niro should have won best actor and I think he is more terrifying than Robert mitchum who is also in this movie. nick nolte did very good as SAM bowden and Juliette Lewis did wonderful as the daughter and the wife was good.
this movie had a cameo by the late great Gregory peck. this movie is a rare remake that is better than the original. overall terrific movie. and martin Scorsese best director.
