Review of Cape Fear (1991) by Tara S — 19 Jul 2011
This remake by Scorsese goes out to make it more sinister and creepy. What it does is make it quite boring and predictable. De Niro isn't on form here and Nolte isn't exactly the 'hero' type either.
Lange shows some good work but it is a young Lewis who shines. Not one of Scorsese's best.
