Review of Cape Fear (1991) by Bri L — 05 Sep 2009
One of the best 90's thrillers with Robert DeNiro stalking his old attorney who's negligence ensured he served 14 years in jail for the brutal rape of a woman. Outstanding acting from the cast, and Scorsese's direction is superb with moody colour contrasts and brutal violence, this film brings a definitive homage to Alfred Hitchcock and some of his great thrillers.
A notch above the original and well worth the watch.
