Review of Cape Fear (1991) by Dan N — 05 Nov 2009
When Sideshow Bob took a ride underneath the Simpson's car in order to not to lose track of them, it was funny - intended funny.
But when Robert De Niro did the same in this movie, it was absolutely seriously meant. And I just couldn't help myself from laughing out.
If you cut out the last 15 minutes, you actually have a very good, suspenseful and intense thriller.
But with this awful ending, it's just Middle Class - although the performances were all pretty good.
