Exciting.Scorsese definitely got more emotion, and power from his cast than Thompson did.Nolte is great as Bowden, especially when he shows his anger out of desperation.I also felt De Niro was better, and easily more creepy as Cady the serial killer.
There is more substance to the members of the family in this film, which is more refreshing.Dare I say, I liked it more than the original.
