Cape Fear is a well made thriller movie that shows a horror like atmosphere throughout. De Niro's acting as Max cady is the focus of the movie and he creates one of the most phychopathic, disturbed and deranged characters in film history.
dynamic direction by Martin Scorsese creates suspense and could not be done any better. Watching a Scorsese movie is never a risk, hes the master of brilliance and watching Cape Fear I feel he can direct anything.
This is by all means an Instant classic.
