Review of Cape Fear (1991) by Derek S — 15 Apr 2011
I've seen a lot of scary movies in my lifetime. SAW, The Grudge, and The Ring are all really scary movies (in my opinion). Cape Fear was certainly suspenseful... until the last act where it got rather ridiculous.
Some of the cinematography was pretty clever, but nothing spectacular.
I watched it on Netflix DVD and the quality looked as sharp as Blu-ray; great transfer from film.
