As always De Niro is a very good and versatile actor, as well as dedicated. He spent 5,000 dollars to mess up his teeth for this role, and spent 20,000 to fix them back again! He took his script around to southern locals and asked them to read from the script, so he can better tame the southern accent. He read on the behavior of serial rapists and killers alike. And brought his body fat down to 3%.

Besides all of that this movie has a really good plot, and its so suspenseful that you will be sitting on the edge of your seat the whole time with your eyes glued to the TV!!
