Review of Cape Fear (1991) by Hrant B — 09 Jan 2012
Although I had not seen the original 62 version, I felt the 91 version was stuck in the 1970's with the freakish orchestra music that was louder than the dialogue. The word fear was missing, I felt no fear but De Niro played marvelously as a tattooed bad ass mother you know what.
Scorcese is a great director but this wasn't his best work of art.
