Cape Fear is a strange film. As being a remake, Scorsese tries to use his trademark qualities, but they can't be distinguished, possibly due to Scorsese not wanting to make the film in the first place.
Nevertheless, Cape Fear is an OK evening choice and De Niro is simply spectacular.
