Review of Cape Fear (1991) by Luke H — 07 Jun 2015
It doesn't feel like your usual Scorsese film, Cape Fear wrings out a fantastic performance from Robert De Niro as Max Cady and some great horror moments that show Scorsese can do nearly everything.
A great moment has to be when Max tries to announce his presence of annoyance to Nolte, he goes to a movie theater, sits in front of him, starts smoking and inappropriately laughing. Because that's how you annoy someone, Scorsese gets it.
