Review of Can't Buy Me Love (1987) by Brent R — 11 Dec 2007
I remember seeing this movie years ago when I was younger and I thought it was really good. Well after a recent viewing all I found from this movie is that... damn this movie has not aged well. Maybe it's because they've redone this poor story so many times. Or maybe it's that if I see one more teen movie feature a school dance I'm gonna scream.
I am going to give it props for entertaining me in the 80's and that it did, but as of now it's nothing more than a waste.
One thing is for sure this is way better than the dreadful remake they made a couple years ago, "Love Don't Cost A Thing"... now that is truly a mess of a movie. (C+).
