Review of Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death (1989) by Robbie K — 04 Dec 2018
In the dark unexplored Avocado jungles of Southern California, A sexy feminist professor (Shannon Tweed) must venture deep inside to convince the Piranha women (i.e. cannibal women) to leave their homes for lovely Condos in Malibu.
I'm not making this up. (Bill Maher) was damn funny as Jim and (Karen Mistal) who played Bunny was hilarious. Adrienne Barbeau's radical feminist role is excellent too. Perms, pastels and shoulder padded blazers, the usual attire of the wondrous 80s.
One of those exploitation-spoof flicks that actually makes you laugh wholeheartedly. One of the best bad movies ever-- period!
