Review of Cannibal! The Musical (1996) by David G — 30 Jul 2008
This movie started out slow, but at times I burst out laughing at the visual gags and funny song lyrics. I can't be overly critical about the quality of this movie. Not only does this low budget college film satirize the story of Packer, but it even pokes fun at itself.
One example is the scene with the "indians" played by Japanese international students, who remind the audience that they are supposed to be indians. This is the style that Trey Parker would refine and go on to co-create South Park and movies like Team America: World Police.
