Review of Cannibal Holocaust (1980) by Megan S — 24 Mar 2009
This is a great movie for those who enjoy the gore factor in horror films. I can't say the acting is great but I don't think that was the point when this was made. I would say that this is apart of the Cannibal genre and not the commonly mistaken zombie genre so beware.
The film was made as a type of allegory to the Vietnam war and the senseless violence that ensued. This gets four stars mostly for shock value.
