Review of Cannibal Holocaust (1980) by Tyler P — 13 Nov 2009
Warning this film is not for the weak at heart only for the true horror fans or explotationers. Ruggero Deodatos masterpiece is one of the only movies that live up to the hype. But its more then just a gore fest its acutally a really well made social commentary and the most realistic looking film I have ever seen as well as the most disturbing.
This is also the first film to use the camera style now known as "guerilla filmamking"(too bad Blair bitch ripped this off and too credit for starting it). For those curious about this film take in mind it contains graphic rape ,and gore that is very realistic looks as well as REAL cruelty to animals in several parts of the film.
One thing is certain wether you love it or hate it you never forget it.
