This is a movie that a lot of people should not see. Easily one of the most graphic and disturbing movies i've ever seen. While slow to start and some of the acting isn't great, this is one of the scariest, if not THE scariest movies i've ever seen.
This movie paved the way for "Found Footage" movies like Blair Witch Project, REC and Cloverfield and because of that its really important and really fascinating but not for those with a weak stomach.
If you can look past the gore and disturbing imagery, you'll find one of the most effective horror movies ever put on film and a really well put together movie. Just don't watch it alone. Or after eating.
