Review of Cannibal Holocaust (1980) by Mad M — 17 Mar 2012
Worth a watch, IF you've got the stomach and aren't easily shocked.
Napoleon Chagnon (google him) + Network + grindhouse = Cannibal Holocaust.
This film is not boring, it's captivating from beginning to end.
It starts off funny and interesting, moves into an adventure, and ends up a brutal tale.
You've probably heard about how graphic and gorey it is... it is pretty graphic...
SPOILERS.
... especially the animal cruelty and rape scenes. I've seen worse though. And it didn't seem like a shockfest for the sake of being a shockfest; it had a purpose and everything flowed pretty well into the narrative.
