Love it or hate cannibal holocaust will never go away. generations to come will still be searching this film out to see if it lives up to the hype. and it does..."Cannibal Holocaust" is repulsive and highly offensive, yet well acted and directed and beautifully shot.

unbelievably cruel animal torture(the turtle scene is extremely depressing) and convincing gore effects. will sicken even the most seasoned horror fanatics. the most extreme and dead serious of all the mondo-style cannibal films released in the late '70s and early '80s.
