Review of Cannibal Holocaust (1980) by Ben D — 12 Nov 2014

This film is not good. This is kind of stating the obvious, but it's too graphic. It's nasty, gross, disturbing, sick, twisted, uncomfortable, and just unbearable to watch. I know that the whole point of the movie was to be as nasty as possible, but it took it too far.

Take something like Hostel. It's gross and nasty and the whole point was to be overly violent. The difference is Hostel didn't take as far as this film did. It wasn't unbearable to watch. This is and I cannot recommend it.
