Now that's some good Canadian cheese right there. A bloody creeper with some great Canadian actors makes Cannibal Girls appealing. Not good, but appealing.

A couple's car breaks down and they take it to a shop in a little tiny town. But this town has a little story, a legend about 3 very hot woman who run and live in a local hotel, invite men in, murder them, and eat them. But it's merely a tourist attraction. Or is it? There's something strange about this town that raises the question: Do the Cannibal Girls exist? It's a simple story that's no more than a shocker. The story is way under developed and there's just some things that don't make sence. But there's good cheese horror in here, and moments that will catch your eye fast that are pretty creepy, but overall slow and underdeveloped.

Directed by Ivan Reitman, there's some nice cheesy horror effects with the camera, but the pacing is a bit off. There's not a awful lot of horror in this movie, and when it happens it's barely horrifying. This movie isn't even that graphic. There's blood, but it leaves it all mostly tot he imagination. In some cases that's good, but this movie is definitely not serious enough to capture that effect. Some bad sound mixing and editing make this movie even more cheesy, and not in a good way. There's just some moments that are just bad. Just bad.

A young and hot Andrea Martin and a freaky, hippie looking Eugene Levy make this movie appealing. Cannibal Girls is cheesy fun to watch, but it just doesn't work on so many levels. The story is flat and doesn't make sence with plenty of plot left unexplained. But it's Canadian, so it's worth a look.
