Review of Candyman (2021) by Bersi84 — 25 Apr 2022

I ve never seen a Candyman movie before so it was time to get out of the way. I felt Candyman checks some good boxes and clicked for me at times but not always. It has some gory elements, some scariness and also a background story thats not too bad although quite thin but hey.. it is a horror movie right. Some elements of the movie are quite disgusting too achieving a nice mix in the end. Why only a 7? It didnt feel too special and along the road there were unnecessary mix-ins that felt more stupid than anything else.

After all it was a nice watch that felt a little bit too long and the ending is debatable.
