The main problem with Candyman is that it's strongly,unflinchingly based upon the serial-killer wraith of the picture whilst no one else of the characters supports this very sinister plot,an urban,demonic correspondence similar to the likes of a nightmarish Elm Street but this time the obstacles are the impending disaster.Honest like an Event Horizon but could have been developed as a b-movie and not as a major flick.
Remains of higher quality in any case than most modern horror frauds (Wolf Creek and Saw,I'm watching you!!!).
