Candyman is one of the scariest movies that I've seen in a while, Its haunting, moody and poetic. This movie is about a woman who is doing research on urban legends, when she finds out about candyman, a murderous soul with a hook for a hand who haunts caprini green, she doesn't believe he exists and she soon convinces everyone who once believed he was real that he is just a myth.

But candyman shows up and haunts her, killing people and leaving her at the scene to make it appear that she is the one killing. Candyman wants helen to let him kill her so she can die with him and become an urban legend also.

this film is very interesting, this isn't an average horror movie, its a lot deeper, its also kind of a romance that the killer has with the main protagonist (Virginia Madsen) and whats great about this film is that its something new, its an interesting take on urban legends and if you haven't given candyman a watch, and you are a horror fan, then give it a watch.

The only flaws are that the film starts off kinda slow. But thats just a little nit pick, this is a chilling tale that is both interesting and scary.
