Review of Candyman (1992) by Juha L — 10 Apr 2010
This is one of those movies that I vividly remember from my childhood. And I remember it scared the living shit out of me. And to this day I have to say that this is a pretty damn effective horror film with a great story and a haunting performance by Tony Todd.
It's a slasher film that focuses on the atmospheric stuff and emotions more than the gore and it works wonderfully. And to top all that with amazingly beautiful music by one of my all time favourites Philip Glass.
This is a somewhat legendary film.
