Review of Candy (2013) by Daniel I — 14 May 2008
Seen through the eyes of the two main stars, Candy tells the story of two young lovers who are addicted to heroin. Thankfully their life is not glamorized and their addiction is treated as a problem rather than as a poetic romance.
Life falls apart but there really is not much else in this film other then the relationship which drones on and never really goes anywhere. It's also twenty minutes too long.
