It was really good...really depressing, but it IS about drug addiction and a tumultuous relationship. The scenes of withdrawal make you sympathetic for them. Actually a few funny parts too. It served as kind of a haunting foreshadowing for Ledger's reality.
..aside from the drug of choice. Quite a somber movie, but still beautiful.
