It's nice, in a way, to see a film about drug addicts in which, for a time at least, the addicts really seem to be enjoying themselves. but then afterwards when it goes down hill it really goes there.
I thought it was a bit too much, I mean, is it really necessary for all those bad things to happen in one movie? they could have made many films with the same message out of all of it. well they chose to include it all in this film, and I don't mind that, it's just that, in my opinion for the message to sink in one doesn't have to show ALL the negative things that using drugs can do to one's life.
too much can sometimes be simply too much. period. it is a difficult watch as it is, but the two main leads really make this watchable. acting talent makes this film above average. watch it, but beware, it does get heavy.
still, a pretty good film about...(what?)...drugs!!! duh.
