'Corny' is probably the best word to sum up this movie, but despite being corny it was still watchable. Compared to 'High School Musical' its not as good, but still a reasonable addition to Disney's catalogue.
Demi Lovato's not bad as Mitchie but The Jonas Brothers aren't so great (luckily only one of them is really featured). Storyline is very predictable and probably the films let-down and none of the songs really stand out like they normally do in a Disney movie so that was also disappointing.
Characters however are likeable as are most of the actors. Overall it's OK but compared to what Disney has previously delivered it could have been better.
