Review of Camp Rock (2008) by Yx L — 22 Nov 2009
The inherent problem with this movie? The word "rock" is in the title. These kids don't rock. They play Top 40 pop schmaltz. Rock music is AC-DC, Chuck Berry, Jim Hendrix and The Stones. Not good looking teens trying to act cool and saying they're playing rock music.
Disney isn't powerful enough to destroy rock'n'roll by itself, but they're going to try. It's part of their evil plot to take over the entire world. Kind of like what Sly Stallone woke up to in Demolition Man where fast food, sex and booze are outlawed.
This mess should be banned.
