Review of Camp (2014) by Samuel C — 04 Oct 2010

I had a great time watching this movie!

But this was because I watched it with Tom and had a great time with being a snide bitch about how bad this movie is. If I'd watched it alone, I'm sure I would have been bored out of my skull.

In all fairness: it's not awful really, and it doesn't try to be any better than it is. And the message is rather nice (well, most of it, though the "will blow for spotlight" aspect slightly less) and some of 'm kids just seem so sweet and it's touching seeing them go all out and be who they wanna be and so on and so on.

So while all of that almost makes me inclined to give Camp a passing grade, fairness dictates that it's just a little below other movies I awarded the 2.5.

So, see it with friends when you want something brainless, rum helps too.
