How did this movie get made? It's demographic is, shall we say, "niche" -which is to say myself and my friends. That's about it. Nevertheless, I am grateful. The plot is a total sappy, awkward mess but THOSE MUSICAL NUMBERS! Heaven.
And it wouldn't be heaven without God, so we even get a rare Sondheim cameo. Guess I'm religious after all.
