Review of Camino (2008) by Allan W — 16 May 2010
As an ilustration of Opus Dei doctrine is a perfect achievement. The negative critics based in a melodramathic-religious film clearly demonstrated ignorance about this catholic doctrine, because the result of a film about opus Dei must be exactly that kind of film -the outrageous of opus dei is how manipulated children minds with ideas like love, becoming saint, heaven, punishment, etc. for the purposes of this prelature, interpretating The Bible by a conservative discrimination with the objective "use the faith to control the life, by refusing liberty and personal choices as possibles".
WARNING SPOILER.
May be, is common to criticize this film because seems exaggerate, using simply resources... but we must realize the view that presents is of a maximum 13 years old girl: manipulated by the opus dei this childish view can't manage when the contradictions affecting her are impossible for she to understand as contradcitions and not obliged actions for the happiness of her mother manipulated by opus dei.
