Review of Calvary (2014) by Matt D — 21 Feb 2015
'Calvary' is a fine showcase for Brendan Gleeson - one of the best character actors working today - but falls just shy of greatness as a whole thanks to an occasional heavy hand that throws off the film's otherwise gentle stream of storytelling.
Absolutely gorgeous cinematography of beautiful Ireland though.
