Review of Calvaire (2005) by Lindsay H — 26 Mar 2009

Possibly the highest ratio of insane to sane characters of any movie I've ever seen, and that's gotta count for something. (Even the PIG was crazy!) Unfortunately, it seemed to be trying too hard, and it stretched my suspension of disbelief just a little too far (seriously, just how many crazy people can you fit into a few square kilometers??).

On the other hand, while it wasn't interesting enough to invite immediate re-watching, it was pretty entertaining for what it was, and I had a few good laughs. Not a bad way to spend an evening!
