Based on a true story, James Stewart stars in this classic noir as a reporter digging up new evidence in an 11-year-old murder case that he slowly comes to believe resulted in the wrong man being imprisoned.
A decent â??cold caseâ?? mystery. Although it relies a bit too much on the "true" part to carry interest, Stewart's acting compensates.
