Review of Call Me by Your Name (2017) by Forestation — 19 Dec 2017
An extraordinarily sensitive and exquisite portrayal of first love. The movie is filled with gorgeous scenery, enduring melodies and sly humor. But above all it is filled with tenderness, so much tenderness, between lovers, family and friends.
The kindness and beauty in the movie is an antidote to the toxic ugliness of our times (with some of that ugliness displayed in the "reviews" of people who bash the movie for their own twisted agenda without even seeing the film).
