A film so slow and patiently told, is the only way to truly portray the gut wrenching pain of love. Although unhappy love, the pain of it is fused with the psychological challenge, of realizing who you are as a young man, despite your every effort to be normal.
Being an exceptional person, both in intellect and feelings is a hard life, and love is the fuel for this firery pain.
The director, writer, Cinematography and last but certainly not least: The acting.
Elevates this story of life, to heights very few movies actually achieve to do, to tell a story that everyone can learn and reflect upon.
It is well noteworthy in this day and age of fast pace, and quick fixes. To tell the story of youth in a slow and realistic way, to succeed in faithfully illustrate how precious and voulnerable we are, if we dare to be, who we uniquely are.
